Psychedelic Integration
Returning to the Wisdom Within
Psychedelic Assisted Psychotherapy is a powerful tool for healing and self-discovery.
Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy offers individuals the opportunity to engage in therapeutic psychedelic experiences within a carefully structured and professionally supported environment.
While the experience itself can offer profound insights, the real transformation begins after, when you take action to gently weave those lessons into the fabric of your daily life.
This is not about chasing intensity or escaping reality. It’s about slowing down, tuning in, and allowing the medicine to reconnect you to your inner wisdom, all while a trusted guide walks beside you every step of the way.
There are many approaches to Psychedelic Assisted Psychotherapy.
I am thankful to be able to offer Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) at Makom. KAP is a specific type of psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy that combines safe, legal ketamine with therapeutic support to address the root causes of conditions like depression, anxiety, and other mental health challenges.
Psychedelics can open doors to powerful states of consciousness—but understanding what lies behind those doors takes time, support, and reflection.
Together, we prepare for your experience by co-creating a safe and meaningful environment, and staying connected afterward as you process what comes up for you. We’ll explore what is revealed, tend to what surfaces, and, in the context of a safe, trusting relationship, help you ground those insights so they can nurture positive, lasting changes in your everyday life.
Psychedelic Assisted Psychotherapy helps bridge that gap, empowering you to:
Make Meaning of the Experience
Clarify insights, visions, and emotions that arise during your journey.
Resolve Difficult or Challenging Moments
Work through anxiety, fear, grief, or trauma that may surface as part of your experience.
Nourish Sustainable Changes
Translate spiritual or personal breakthroughs into real life shifts in your habits, relationships, and self-understanding.
Stay Grounded and Centered
Reconnect with your body and the present moment, while holding space for new and deeper awareness.
Have Questions? Here's What You Need to Know:
What is Psychedelic Integration?
Psychedelic integration, also called Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy, is the process of combining psychedelic experiences with therapy to help you make sense of the insights you gain and apply them to your everyday life.
With this approach, you work with a trained therapist in a safe, supportive setting during and after your psychedelic experience.
Together, you’ll explore the feelings and insights that come up during your psychedelic experience and learn how to weave them into your day-to-day world.
This therapy is grounded in evidence-based practices and follows a harm-reduction approach. The focus is on making the experience as safe, helpful, and supportive as possible to maximize the benefits while minimizing any potential risks.
What all that means is:
I will sit with you as a professional facilitator to create a safe space while you have your experience, and I will support you in exploring and processing the lessons afterwards.
It’s normal to feel some uncertainty. This is deep, vulnerable work. Your safety and autonomy are central to every step we take together.
Why Psychedelic Integration?
Psychedelic experiences can offer powerful wisdom and moments of clarity that can lead to real healing and personal growth. But turning those insights into lasting change in your life requires conscious effort.
While psychedelics can open doors to new perspectives, they aren’t a quick fix or a magic solution.
They’re tools.
And, like any tool, they work best when combined with thoughtful action.
Psychedelic Assisted Psychotherapy is about offering gentle, personal support to help you make sense of and integrate your experiences. The goal is to help you take the wisdom you gain and turn it into healthy, sustainable shifts in your life.
What do you mean by “psychedelic medicine?”
In my practice, I use PAP to help facilitate mental healing and well-being. Specifically, I offer Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), a treatment that combines safe, legal ketamine with therapy to address the root causes of conditions like depression, anxiety, and other mental health challenges.
When used in a therapeutic setting, ketamine acts as a psychedelic medicine that can help shift deeply ingrained personal patterns, leading to safer, more positive, and long-lasting clinical outcomes.
Do you have specialized training in Psychedelic Assisted Psychotherapy?
How does KAP with Makom work?
I partner with a medical organization called Journey Clinical to safely deliver KAP. Their medical team processes your application, determines your eligibility, prescribes ketamine, and supports clinical outcome tracking, but I am your facilitator and guide through the experience itself.
This collaboration allows us to safely and ethically combine medical care with deep therapeutic support, so your healing is held from all sides.
Healing is deeply personal. There is no one right path.
