Video
Interestingly enough, with in a one month period, two people called me to do videos.
First my colleague Larry Nicholas was starting a new project NW therapy finder, what a great idea! I thought. So we tried it, he and his business partner Adam Knight were patient and offered me every courtesy. They are a great team. Larry and Adam are fun and professional.
Next in the this process, David L Brundige’s team called me and offered to shoot. They had an established service, news to me, but it was free to shoot and so I thought, why not? I’d have a choice. David was a warm, intuitive person who came solo, and videoed and interviewed me spontaneously with no preset questions. It was a lovely experience.
I liked both Videos…
* In the spontaneous conversation with Adam Knight, I say I love my patients. I do, or I would not have said so, I have been lucky to be able to feel deep love, compassion and reverence, for all of my clients. I want to note however that, as with any close relationship, numbers of feelings happen, those are normal and a part of the process of authentic relating, and therefore an essential aspect of therapy when they arise. I positively regard my clients and regard warmth and care as part of the repair process of therapy, but if other feelings come up for you or me, we will deal honestly with those too.
